Yacht charter Primošten
Primošten has a population of just under 2,900, but this small port town north of Split is well worth a visit. Strictly speaking, Primošten is an island directly off the mainland of Croatia, but there is a mobile bridge that connects Primošten with the world. The town got its name as early as 1564, when it was called Primostiti, which means bridge. A century later, the beautiful little parish church of Sveti Jurij, i.e. St. George, was built, which today is the highest point of the town. To this day Primošten is surrounded by a city wall, which was built in the 17th century.
The Kremik Marina
Sailors arriving on a yacht charter in Primošten have two options: Firstly, there is the small town harbor and secondly, the modern Marina Kremik. While the small town harbor has only few berths for sailors, the offer in the new marina is quite extensive. The marina offers good shopping facilities and very clean sanitary facilities. From the marina there is a shuttle bus to Primošten at regular intervals, which you should use to visit the beautiful little town.
Welcome to the Middle Ages
Primošten was once a small picturesque fishing village and the place has been able to carry over this unique charm into the present day. Especially the old town, Raduča, is worth a visit, because the old picturesque houses and the narrow streets form a beautiful picture. It is fun to stroll through the streets and drink a coffee or eat an ice cream in one of the street cafes on one of the shady squares. In the evening, the small restaurants at the harbor invite you to dine and if you like it romantic, you should watch the sunset from the harbor.
Sailing around the island
If you want to see Primošten from the water side, you should sail the coastal path that goes around the island. The beaches are pebbles, but it is still worth anchoring, swimming in the clear always pleasantly temperate water and sunbathing on the beach. Parallel to the circumnavigation of the island, you can also walk the path on the island, because this perspective is also worthwhile. If you plan a longer trip on a yacht charter Primosten, then the beautiful Kornati islands offer themselves.
