The Kornati National Park is one of the most popular destinations for sailors and motorboats in Croatia. There are some rules for sailing in this area.

Kornati National Park

In 1980 the Kornati archipelago was declared a national park. It comprises a total of 89 islands, many of which are small islands around the main island of Kornati. The sea area is easy to navigate, anchors and anchorages are possible in designated bays and harbours as well as buoys.

As so often in the most beautiful places in the world, there is an entrance fee, the national park fee. It can be paid locally, there are cashiers who drive through the island world, or you can buy the ticket in advance in ports outside the national park - this becomes much cheaper!
